Information this website handles

This website does not use advertising trackers, set analytics cookies, operate a newsletter signup form, or ask visitors to create accounts. Search and update filters run in your browser. We do not intentionally collect or retain the words you enter into those tools.

Our hosting and security providers process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, and security events. Depending on the security settings in use, our hosting provider may set cookies needed to protect or deliver the site; these are not used for advertising or reader profiling.

Cookieless analytics

On the production site, we plan to use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use and site performance. When enabled, this service does not use cookies or local storage, fingerprint visitors, or create profiles that follow people across websites. We do not send form contents, email addresses, or search phrases to analytics. The private review site does not load the analytics beacon.

Email, donations, and other websites

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Donation links and other external links take you to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices apply after you leave this website.

Your choices and questions

You can use the public pages without providing your name or email address. For questions about this notice or information you have sent directly to Community Info Coop, email connect@comminfo.org. We may update this notice when the site or its service providers change.
